What to expect at a Lazy Yoga class
Starting something new can feel a little daunting — I completely understand. But from the moment you walk through the door, you’ll be welcomed into our friendly, supportive Lazy Yoga community.
Many of my students quickly become friends, and that sense of connection is something I’m truly proud of.

Classes are designed with beginners in mind, so you’ll find a calm, nourishing space where you can move at your own pace, ask questions, and simply be yourself.
No pressure, no judgement — just gentle guidance to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for.

Whether you’re here to ease stress, recover from injury, or simply enjoy some peaceful movement, you’ll always find a warm, welcoming environment ready to support you.

Pranyama
We begin every class with simple breathing techniques designed to help you relax and release stress. Focusing on your breath calms the nervous system, slows down the mind, and helps your body feel safe and supported.
This peaceful start creates a soothing space, preparing you gently for the rest of the practice — no rush, no pressure, just a moment to arrive fully in your body.
Gentle yoga poses
All the poses in my classes are gentle and carefully designed to calm the nervous system, ease stress, and promote deep relaxation. You don’t need any previous experience or to be flexible — everyone is welcome just as they are. I always encourage you to listen to your body and find comfort in each pose, moving at your own pace.

If you’re looking for a beginner-friendly yoga class in Cardiff, you’ll find a supportive and nurturing space here at Lazy Yoga.

Yoga nidra
At the end of every class, we practice Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep.” It’s a deeply relaxing guided meditation that helps you rest fully while staying awake and aware. This practice promotes profound relaxation, eases stress, and releases tension from the body and mind.

Many of my students say they love this part of the class — it leaves them feeling calm, peaceful, and completely refreshed.
